NC Wildlife Resource Commission Washington Baum Bridge Site ImprovementsManteo, NC This project involves the construction of a new pedestrian bridge from the NC Wildlife Boat Launch Area at the foot of the WB Bridge across an existing marsh to an island on the Sound. The new bridge will be over 400’ long and allow the user an unobstructed view of the surroundings. A new outdoor classroom will be constructed using sustainable materials including a vegetative roof system.
